The novel follows Frances Janvier, an achiever whose life revolves around her intake at Cambridge, who meets the shy creator behind her favorite podcast, Aled Last. In 2016, Oseman published her second novel named, Radio Silence. The novel covers topics such as friendship, mental health issues, eating disorders and LGBT+ relationships. Other characters include his brother Charlie, who suffers from a serious eating disorder and is further explored in Oseman’s Heartstopper webcomic. They try to find out who is behind the pranks at their school, which become increasingly serious as the novel progresses. ![]() It follows the story of Tori Spring, a pessimistic teenager who then meets Michael, her polar opposite, an incredibly optimist. Oseman’s debut novel Solitaire was published by the HarperCollins in year 2014 after the bidding war. ![]()
